chore chart.

hi everyone! i hope you all had a wonderful christmas!!
here is a chore chart i made to help my boys get back into the "swing of things" after taking a 2 week break!
i just covered a magnetic sheet with some leftover designer series paper. i found all these chipboard letters in my stash...yes, they're no longer available so i had to use them on something. Ü
after searching the interenet for cute chore charts, i came up with this one. the other "chores" are just stored on the back. each "chore" has a magnet on the back. so easy! i love not having to write each boy a note before i leave for work reminding them of things that need to get done. now i can just put what chores need to be done the next day on the chart each night. it also gives them a "visual" of what needs to be done as well as a sense of accomplishment when they can move each "chore" down to the "done" spot.

another thing i love is that i'm no longer "nagging" for chores to get done. i just simply look to see what has been done or not...the boys know that if chores aren't getting done, they're not receiving their allowance...simple as that...no discussion, no arguing, etc. Ü

some of the chores i have for them are:
make bed, feed & water jet (our dog), do homework, take out trash, take out recycling, bring dirty laundry downstairs, put clean clothes away, put dishes away, load dishwasher, clean stairs & rooms, vaccum, etc.

thanks for stopping by--hope this gives you inspiration for your own chart! Ü
